Here is a very clear John Stewart interview with Brink Lindsey about swing of the socioeconomic pendulum towards that of libertarianism. My understanding of libertarianism is that an individual can do what ever they want with their lives. I buy this, but I also think there should be a safety net for all people. The safety net should include education, health care, food, shelter, fair economics, law, and peace. Oh and safety – I hear safety nets go well with promoting safety. ^_^  This or parts of it could be the philosophy of libertarianism too, I don’t know. Anyway the interview is good and hopeful.
