OK, this is either the coolest, strangest, or saddest thing I have ever seen.
This is 1,500 plus CPDRC inmates of the Cebu Provincial Detention and Rehabilitation Center, Cebu, Philippines at practice! This is not even the final routine! I wonder if we would have the crime rates we have if this was what prison in the US was like.

I saw this earlier today too.
The strangest part (look closely) is the man dressed as a woman. Slightly balding, with a ponytail seems fairly used to acting in that role…
Fucking creepy.
Oh deer god… that isnt the end of it… they re-created scenes from “Sister Act”… this has to be what is meant by “Cruel and Unusual Punishment”

So, you have to wonder if this was a truly optional thing for the inmates or if they were all forced to do it. Would they send you to “the hole” if you didn’t agree to be in the dance routine? I think most people would probably volunteer, though, since it’s an excuse to have more time in “the yard.” Yeah, i know the lingo, i’ve seen “OZ”.
