Apparently out space has a smell that is “a rather pleasant sweet metallic sensation.” That is according to astronaut Don Pettit from his last mission into space. I think we need confirmation of this. Dillon, would you mind launching yourself into space and taking a big, deep breath? When you get back you can report your findings here.

I don’t get it. How do you take a breath in space? What the h?
You know how high i’d have to be to do that? Which isn’t to say that i’m not willing to give it a shot…
I’d say that i’m willing to take a shot if you can tell me what underwater smells like. So dunk your head for me and take a deep breath…
Ocean water smells like burning.
Maybe you take a baggie into space and then open when you are back inside. Kind of like what we did with farts back in the day.
mmmm, good level of discourse.
It smells like Indian food and a diaper.
